On July 28, 2013, the JMC GHHS held its annual Service Day! 15 fourth year GHHS members and 48 (YES! FORTY-EIGHT) incoming first year students volunteered for this amazing event!
The event took place across 3 sites- the Refugee Health Partners Garden, Jefferson Square Park, and in JMC's own Lubert Plaza.
At the Refugee Health Partners Garden and Jefferson Square Park, volunteers helped with gardening and landscape maintenance to help support the communities the garden and park serve!
In Lubert Plaza, volunteers held a field day for adolescents that are a part of the JeffYES program. A fun time was had by all, including the volunteers (pictures below)!
